Digital Painting - Week Two!

So this week in Digital Painting we had to do some texture studies. We were assigned a sphere to use as the model for the texture to sort of "wrap around" or "puff out" into a ball shape. It's meant to have us think in terms of adding texture to different shapes instead of relying on their own constructed form. This was a really fun and helpful exercise, actually. I felt like I was painting little planets. The first example I think has the most issues and also looks the flattest to me. Might go in and fiddle with the details at some point soon.
